and keeps alive thanks to your contributions.

Therefore,

if you can provide in return we will be happy to receive:

For the class which takes 1,5 hour $12 pre-registered or $15 drop-in

For the class which takes one hour $10 pre-registered or $12 drop-in

Teens 50% discount

Seniors 20% discount.

Individual yoga class: $40 for one hour

We honour circumstances under which you may not be able

to provide as suggested above.

Please DO NOT hesitate to join the classes

and provide as much as you can afford.

We all have right to be Happy, Healthy, Holy, whether we can pay for it or not!

Proposed philosophy behind "classes by donation" system:

Yogi Bhajan frequently reminded us that it is our birthright to be

Healthy, Happy and Holy.

That is why he named the establishment of Kundalini Yoga in North America “3HO”.

Throughout my own life and teaching experiences, I have come to realize that

many people who need help, support and release from “the dark night of the soul”

cannot afford to reach out for services because of their lack of finances.

Presently it may be clearer to all of us that,

unless we reach the place of Splendour together, we do not reach it at all.

The Aquarian Age teachings of Kundalini Yoga were revealed for such purpose.

We have been living our lives on “autopilot”,

working to earn our pay, and measuring our lives in terms of numbers.

But how do you measure a breath of fresh air,  or bathing in the healing rays of the sun,

or drinking a glass of clean delicious water?

How do you measure a scoop of naturally fertile soil, a blessing of instant insight,

or a moment of peace or profound wellbeing?

How much do we give back for these essentials which we take for granted?

Or do we give back at all?

I have been pondering these questions for a long time.

Kundalini Yoga is a yoga of awareness

where we open the space we normally seal away from our daily lives.

My desire is to blend these two worlds together and to begin to live with full awareness. That is how we can begin to question our values and make new choices.

In our society we have become accustomed to a mindset of

save-scrimp-withhold where we can in case there is not enough for something else.

This creates a kind of “poverty consciousness”

whereby we look to get something for free.

Why not create instead a consciousness of prosperity?

I was raised with the communist ideals of equality

in a society where everyone had a job and secure pay, and many services were free: medical, dental, education (including university), and access to sports/ health clubs/spas. This situation did not last for long

and therefore it was considered “utopian” or an unattainable ideal.

However, there was something very healthy about that:

we all are children of the Universe who receive both gifts and challenges.

One moment we are up, one moment we are down;

one moment there is plenitude, and then one moment there is very little.

Who can judge or decide what we are worth or what we really deserve?

There is an ancient principle in the Kundalini Yoga tradition:

“Who comes empty-handed leaves empty-handed”.

It reflects a tradition of the disciple coming with an offering to the master

and receive teachings in return.

It is an universal safeguard against stealing or interrupting the natural flow of energy which may come in the form of teaching, healing, money, or something else.

This is very timely in terms of the global issues we are now facing,

as it supports the balance between energy given and energy received.

We may want to learn how to confer prosperity on

"all our relations" (from Lakota tradition)

without being asked or forced to do so.

What I wish to do is to remove the measurement principle

and leave it to the conscience of every individual.

However, it caused lots of confusion in the past year

because we are simply not used to doing that;

therefore I am going to use a market value of the services offered in the healing center

and use sliding scale contribution system before we are ready to leave it entirely

up to you how much you will give for what you will receive here.

If you cannot afford monetary payments at all, perhaps you can offer your time

and help me with the maintenance of the center

or in the preparation of classes or special events.

The possibilities are endless when we open to them.
