Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP) is a Body-Mind-Spiritual system of psychotherapy for accessing core body experience, and understanding and working with interruption to this natural state of well being and clarity.

IBP integrates verbal and cognitive methods with a body orientation and breath work. It draws from various theoretical perspectives including: Object Relations, Self Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, Reichian Therapy, Bioenergetics, and Transpersonal Psychotherapy.

IBP provides the therapist with a workable map leading directly to the underlying authentic Self. It initiates a re-awakening of aliveness and the authentic Self in which body, mind and spirit interact as cooperative parts within a unified whole.

IBP has a time-tested, firm theoretical base and highly effective methods of implementation, yet is a flexible system in which the individuality of each practitioner is given full expression. An IBP therapist is a skilled body psychotherapist firmly rooted in Self-awareness and compassion, with a deep sensitivity to her or his own personal issues.
